UNFINISHED DOCUMENTATION (1)

I made this series of paintings based on a self-given challenge. I had spent the last 4-6 years producing two sets of very large processed-concerned paintings. Three to four every two years or so. The challenge I gave myself as I began Unfinished Documentation (1) was to limit my materials to a rubber stamp, ink pad, white oil paint and paper on canvas. And, also to stop working on a painting if, while contemplating its state, studied it longer than 15 minutes.
